The tripod is ok. 3 Way pan tilt head is not suitable for wildlife photography. You need to go for ball head or fluid head.

For that budget, there’s nothing much you will get.Tripod + head for your Tamron 150-600 will cost at least 20-30k. Check out manfratto tripods. Remember, you need to the tripod to support at least 3 times the weight of your equipment.

    Dear Reza,

Based on your budget, you can visit Canon or Sony website and you can decide which camera / lens you want. Please do go through the camera / lens course which conveys how to shortlist a camera / lens based on features and of course your budget.

    Hi Santosh,

    Try https://www.fotocircle.com
I have known them for close to 25 years and I purchase all my stuff from them. They are one of the best in Bangalore.

My recommendation is to go with a good lens for bird photography which is Sony 200-600 which will cost you around 1.5 Lakhs and remaining amount put in a good mirrorless Sony camera like the Alpha 6600.

    Jayanta,

You have just joined the course. My suggestion is to go through the post processing course and understand about colour management, ICC profiles and how to save the image for web / online purpose and then decide.

Nope, gimbal will not help…shooting from a vehicle has it’s own challenges. Do watch the wildlife video where I talk about shooting techniques from the vehicle.

Both will behave the same in low light condition as that’s the limitation of these lenses. It does not make sense to change.

    Dear Nagesh,

Please spend time watching and experimenting about depth of field in the basic and advanced fundamentals of photography session and also watch the “How to get blurred out of focus background” course. You need to fully understand about depth of field and the factors affecting it.
